Our next read, from the Comic Novel genre is Modern Baptists, by James Wilcox.

OR, if you can't find yourself a copy of that book, go ahead and read Going Postal, by Terry Pratchet, instead.

We'll be discussing both at our next book club meeting, Friday, June 26th, at Leigh and Shannan's house.

Keep your eyes open for a book suggestion or two that will fit into the Fix-Up* genre.

*A fix-up is a novel created from short stories that may or may not have been initially related or previously published. The stories are edited for consistency, and sometimes new connecting material - such as a frame story - is written for the new novel.

2. Run out and buy our current read, from the Magical Realism genre: One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
